Take Action Against Federal Library Cuts

An executive order issued by the Trump administration on Friday, March 14, calls for the elimination of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). For context, here is a statement from the American Library Association (ALA):

While the Hamilton Public Library does not receive IMLS funding directly, the State of New York does. A cut to IMLS funding will result in future cuts to statewide programs and services.
